Where did April go? These months just seem to keep disappearing on me. It felt like April was a month of waiting. Waiting for releases at the end of the month, waiting for May with all of its busyness. It was a good time though. Especially for reading. I’ve passed the halfway point in my Goodreads challenge and made headway on all of the others. It’s fun to keep track.

The beginning of the month started off with my trip to the Cleveland Museum of Art which was a great time and I loved the Pharaoh exhibit that came through. Plus to celebrate National Library Week, our library hosted an after hours Library Golf program and I assisted at one of the holes (Perk was extra pay hours!)

My TV show watching has been such a mess lately. I just keep putting off certain shows for reading but I’m up to date with my superheroes and CW programs. I need to catch up on iZombie and Shadowhunters though. I have been making my way through Parks & Rec . I’m on Season 3 and loving it!

Now May is upon us and it’s looking like my busiest month all year at the moment. I’ll be at BEA and BookCon for a week and each weekend I have something going on. From Free Comic Book Day and Captain America: Civil War to a wedding shower and reception, it’s going to be filled with exciting stuff. Hopefully I’ll still fit a bunch of reading in too!

So how was your April? Did you get a chance to relax or was it go, go, go? Will you be at Book Expo America or BookCon? Let me know in the comments below!
