I acquired this ARC from the publisher through Edelweiss. This does not impact my thoughts and opinions in any way.

The crew of the Prometheus is intent on taking down the world’s clock towers so that time can run freely. Now captives, Colton, Daphne, and the others have a stark choice: join the Prometheus’s cause or fight back in any small way they can and face the consequences. But Zavier, leader of the terrorists, has a bigger plan–to bring back the lost god of time.

As new threats emerge, loyalties must shift. No matter where the Prometheus goes–Prague, Austria, India–nowhere is safe, and every second ticks closer toward the eleventh hour. Walking the line between villainy and heroism, each will have to choose what’s most important: saving those you love at the expense of the many, or making impossible sacrifices for the sake of a better world.

OH MY GOD!!!! Firestarter by Tara Sim was a thrilling finale that has left me reeling and really without words. Honestly this story from the start captured my heart with it’s amazing characters and interesting plot lines and this book was the perfect culmination to it all. Instead of screaming my feelings, check out this jumble of thoughts that cannot even begin to describe my love for this book.

Danny and Colton have always been the soul of this story and their journey in this one is a freaking roller coaster. From fights to all the feels, these two truly belong together. Daphne also has to make hard choices and come to terms with what the future might hold. Plus we finally get insight into Zavier; his goals, what drives him, and what separates him from others.

The author did not screw around when it came to the high stakes of this last installment. The pace was quick with plenty of action and gut wrenching drama. Everything from the emotional upheaval that left me a hot mess of tears to the sweet and endearing scenes kept the story invigorating. And that’s before readers reach a super intense ending that I was totally unprepared for.

Overall Tara Sim’s Firestarter was an epic conclusion to the Timekeeper trilogy and an absolute emotional wrecking ball. These characters have such depth to them and the changes they went through on page made this story all the more gripping. The plot is still as unique as I originally thought just with many more layers added over time. Honestly if you haven’t started this series yet I highly recommend diving in now.

Are you ready for the conclusion of this series? Want to start at the beginning?
